Sofia comes to Pangalo Group, with over 21 years of success in diverse leadership roles, as our strategy and OD lead and Executive in Residence. Prior to joining Pangalo Group, Sofia was a strategy and management consulting  executive, collaborating with and delivering solutions for global clients in industries ranging from Healthcare to Public Service, Life Sciences to Communications / High Tech. She thrives within the global health and tech industries. Focused on outcomes and solving problems, her recent experience includes serving as an HR executive for a community hospital while developing and implementing the organization’s People and Talent strategy. 

 

Dynamic and practical, Sofia is all about people and is a passionate catalyst for change with a strategic backbone. She focuses on helping businesses optimize market position while honoring their core values and building inclusive cultures. 

 

Sofia is a trained nurse and spent the early years of her career in Patient Care at the Order of St Francis Medical Centre. The fourth largest medical centre in Illinois, it is the area’s only level 1 trauma centre and tertiary care medical centre. She provided patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She is confident and capable in a crisis.

Sofia has lived and worked in Uzbekistan, USA and Australia. She currently resides in San Francisco with her family and a very spoilt dog.
